I will tell of the kindnesses of the LORD,
the deeds for which he is to be praised,
according to all the LORD has done for us –
yes, the many good things
he has done for Israel,
according to his compassion and
many kindnesses.
Isaiah 63:7
When we experience God’s goodness in tangible ways, we want to share it with others.
Sometimes God blesses us with the gift of a new life.
A new child. or grandchild, makes his or her entrance into this world for us to raise and enjoy as God’s goodness.
Perhaps we experience God’s goodness in a job promotion, or a successful endeavour of sorts.
God may answer our prayers when someone we love is struggling with their health. This too is a sure sign of God’s goodness.
Other times, God takes His children home to eternal rest. This is also God’s goodness and we can rest in that.
Over the past year, we have had many prayers answered for the health of my husband and our grandchildren.
That has made us so thankful to the God of our lives.
As we wait upon the LORD, perhaps in a new season of life we can look forward to experiencing His goodness and His many kindnesses.
We must trust Him, lean on Him, and ask Him for His favor, His direction, and His help.
When we look back at our lives, even in areas of suffering, we can recount God’s goodness and divine leading.
As we turn to Him for help and hope we will never be without His goodness and grace.
God’s grace and goodness are something to marvel at, to talk about, to share with others, and it just naturally radiates from a person’s face, or even from the words on a page.
And always God’s greatest kindness to us as believers is His gift of grace.
Our LORD has given us the greatest gift of all, and it is free.
What is not to marvel at?
I will tell of the kindnesses of God.
I will praise Him for his deeds of goodness.

PRAYER-
Thank-you LORD, for your kindnesses, your goodness, and your gracious gifts of grace, family, health, and home.
When we surrender our lives to you, LORD, we really experience your goodness and grace to the maximum.
Nothing can happen in our lives where we don’t see Your mighty hand at work, giving us the grace and strength to
carry on, to keep our hope in you, to lean on you, and to give you praise in prayer.
We love you, LORD.
