Freedom From Bondage

For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice,
but by the will of the one who subjected it,
in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay
and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.
Romans 8:20-21.

I neglected to explain to any of you who follow this Blog that we would be away on vacation for a week.
Next time I will remember to inform you.
My apologies.
After a time of rest and learning at a Writer’s Conference through Proverbs 31 Ministries, I am back and ready to write for you.

When the end of time on earth arrives, God will make all things new.

This includes all of creation, which at the present time is groaning under sin.

The whole creation waits for the time when God takes those who believe into glory.

While we wait, life will not be perfect, we will not be perfect, and creation groans.

God subjected creation to frustration because of the sin of man.

And we wait.

For all things to be made perfect at the end of time.

Yet we wait in hope as those who believe in the great God of the universe.

Creation itself awaits the coming glory of the children of God.

When that day comes, the day of the glorious liberty of the sons and daughters of God, then creation will groan and labour no more.

The birth pangs of creation in bondage to sin are hoping for the day when Christ returns.

Have you experienced these groanings yourself?

Some days, it seems just too long before creation becomes perfected, and God takes us into glory.

We hope and long for the day when everything will be perfect.

No more sin, no more bondage.

No more crying, no more tears.

No more anxiety, no more depression.

No more hatred, and evil agendas.

A perfect world order. A perfect world free from the bondage of sin.

Believers will live in sweet and perfect communion with each other for all eternity.

Can you imagine that?

I glimpsed that sweet fellowship at the Conference I attended last week.

It was beautiful. The walls came down and everyone trusted one another and spoke freely, without hindrances to each other.

There is still much beauty in our world, but oh, so much sorrow as well.

I cling to the beauty for all I’ve got. I don’t want to dwell on the negative.

That is why I post beautiful photos and speak the encouraging Words of Life from the Bible.

With eyes of faith, I hope, and hope, and hope some more for the day when all creation groans no more.

When you and I will be free from sin as well. Free from bondage to sin. Free to be free forevermore.

For now, we see people in pain, struggling, in bondage to sin, but there is hope if they turn to Jesus.

Presently, we see the world around us broken, hurting, and suffering.

But there is hope and freedom if we turn to God.

There is waiting, yes, but there is hope indeed.

Won’t you join me today in hope of a better day when all will be perfect?

Let us cling to the hope of freedom in Christ.

This is not a crutch for weaklings, but the source of strength and hope for all the world.

For those who bow the knee to Jesus in faith there will be freedom from bondage forevermore.

Today I should perhaps post some photos of creation groaning, but instead I will give you a little foretaste of the

perfection of the world to come when Jesus returns to bring those who believe into their perfect home.

As one who loves to bring joy and encouragement to the souls of those who are open to it, I am doing this for you dear one.

May it bring you joy and gladness today, and encourage you to keep hoping for that better day when Christ returns and brings us into perfect freedom.

Let’s forget the troubles of this world for now and take a glimpse at a peace of perfection, not completed yet, but a glimpse, for now.

God bless you, dear reader.

It is good to be back.
