Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid.
Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today.
The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.
The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Exodus 14:13-14.
Yesterday we had the blessing of witnessing two Baptisms.
We drove to Fort Erie, eager to see be part of a very special Church Service.
Someone dear was signifying their desire to be part of God’s family, His covenant seal upon them today.
As we drove along the Niagara Parkway, we listened to Christian Radio (89.3 F.M.).
The words to a very fitting song for the day poured forth, infiltrating the car along with the beams of sunshine, and the glimpses of the sparkling waters of the Niagara River.
It filled us to the brim with joy radiating forth.
These are the words-
Yet Not I but Through Christ in Me
Song by City Alight
Lyrics
What gift of grace is Jesus, my redeemer
There is no more for heaven now to give He is my joy, my righteousness, and freedom My steadfast love, my deep and boundless peaceTo this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
For my life is wholly bound to His Oh, how strange and divine I can sing, “All is mine” Yet not I, but through Christ in meThe night is dark, but I am not forsaken
For by my side, the Saviour He will stay I labour on in weakness and rejoicing For in my need, His power is displayedTo this I hold, my Shepherd will defend me
Through the deepest valley, He will lead Oh, the night has been won, and I shall overcome Yet not I, but through Christ in meNo fate I dread, I know I am forgiven
The future sure, the price it has been paid For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon And He was raised to overthrow the graveTo this I hold, my sin has been defeated
Jesus, now and ever is my plea Oh, the chains are released, I can sing, “I am free” Yet not I, but through Christ in meWith every breath I long to follow Jesus
For He has said that He will bring me home And day by day I know He will renew me Until I stand with joy before the throneTo this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
All the glory evermore to Him When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat Yet not I, but through Christ in meTo this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
All the glory evermore to Him When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat Yet not I, but through Christ in meWhen the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat
Yet not I, but through Christ in me Yet not I, but through Christ in me Yet not I, but through Christ in meSource: Musixmatch

In the afternoon we could witness a family being Baptised in our own Church. How beautiful that was, too.
During the offering, the song by City Alight echoed off the keys of the piano. That was no coincidence to me. What a fitting and beautiful worship song!
So this past Sunday was no ordinary Sunday, but as usual, the grace of God had us singing and worshipping God with awe, reverence and thankful for His amazing grace!
I hope you experienced the same Dear Reader.
May God’s grace uphold today and always.
Wishing you a blessed and beautiful week ahead.
