Jublilant

Let the fields be jubilant,
and everything in them;
let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
Psalm 96:12

Sometimes you walk through the fields and forest and it seems everything is singing and everything is in perfect harmony.

At those times, you know you know, that all creation praises God.

And isn’t it amazing that fields can sing the praises of our great God? He made them that way.

We see fields sing when the crops are growing and rows line upon line sprout from the ground under the sunshine.

Fields sing when the seedling has grown into a flourishing plant, and the harvest is plentiful.

The fields sing as the shower of rain soaks its ridges and furrows.

A walk through the forest with various species of trees, wildflowers, and shrubs strewn along the way radiates the majesty and sing of the power of the great God of the universe.

When the sun shines, and creation sings praises to our LORD, it is a beautiful thing!

Our hearts sing right along with creation and our souls become filled with gratitude at the beauty of it all.

The song of the meadowlark, blue jay, sparrow, and many a brawny woodpecker reverberate throughout the land.

In unison, they sing in various tunes the praises of the one who made them.

Their sounds echo through the forest and fill the soul with wonder.

How can it be that the God of all creation cares for the sparrow, the fern, the oak and all of humanity in an instant and for eternity?

His eye is on everything and all creation praises Him.

What about you?

Do you sing the song of His beloved one, or do you kick against the goads in a song of rebellion?

Won’t you bow the knee in reverence to the King of all creation?

The King who searches our hearts and knows our minds.

Let us be jubilant and sing for joy along with all of His creation.

He is the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, let His praises echo throughout the land, in our souls, to the depth of our being for now and forevermore.
