God is love; and he that dwelleth in love
dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Herein is our love made perfect.
1 John 4: 16, 17
Today marks the beginning of a brand new month!
My favourite month of May is over for another year, but June is my second favourite month and is so beautiful as well. At least it is in Canada.
What about you? What is your favourite month? Perhaps you enjoy Autumn most, many people do.
Anyway, for the month of June, I thought I would write about love.
As I flipped our calendar to a new month this morning, I examined the dates closely and counted.
In our family (both sides), I counted thirteen weddings. That does not include friends’ weddings.
June is definitely the wedding month!
So I decided for the month of June, I would write about love. God’s love. And how we are to abide or dwell in His love.
As much as I love nature, and above all the Creator of nature, I also enjoy reading poetry and especially as it relates to the life of a Christian.
Therefore, I chose the Scripture written at the top/ above as my theme Bible Verse for the month of June.
Might these verses encourage you much.
It is written… in poetic form from the King James Version of the Bible.
The word dwelleth can be interchanged with the word, abides.
The Bible Verse listed above was the chosen verse we had on our Wedding Programs. I will post a picture of that program today.
It just made sense back in June 1985 to begin our lives in God’s love.
Little did we know then how much we would need God’s love to exemplify and imitate for a quality of love that honours God in our marriage.
After 38 years of marriage (yes we had a June Wedding!) we can both say, “if not for the grace and love of God…” where would we be today?
We had to learn to love better and ask God to teach us how to love. How about you?
Regardless if you are married, or single, we all need to learn to love others better with God’s love in us, helping us.
My husband and I, are so thankful that beyond anything else we are abiding (though not nearly perfectly) in God’s love today.
What about you? Does God’s love compel you? Are you captivated, enthralled, and overwhelmed with His love for you today?
If not, I am here for the month of June, to encourage you in God’s faithful love.
I hope that as we focus on God’s perfect love for you, and me, you will walk away encouraged, uplifted, and refreshed in your hope in the LORD and His love.
As always, my goal on this Blog is to give you hope, to inspire you and bring God’s Word into the forefront as a catalyst to bring life, and renewal to your heart and soul.
May God bless you dear reader for the month of June and always.
Until tomorrow then, abide in His love won’t you?
Dwell there, camp there, focus on it in a world that is sometimes unloving.
His love will consume you, comfort you and heal you. His love is genuine.
P.S. For the next week I will post only encouraging Bible Verses on the Blog with photos.
Then beginning on June 12th, I will begin writing full Blog Posts again about God’s love.
I hope you stay tuned in to God’s love and that you abide in it fully.
His love is enough.
He is enough.
Until tomorrow then,
may God’s love envelope you, surround you, encourage you, and dwell in every inch of your heart.
God loves you with an everlasting love and draws you with lovingkindness.
His love is perfect and He envelopes you with His loving arms.
Ask God to show you more of His perfect love?
Believe it and receive it.
I am posting the words to two songs we had at our June Wedding, and I hope they bring God’s love to the forefront of your focus today.
They are not meant to cause you sadness if you are alone, but to encourage you to focus on the ultimate love in our lives as Christians, God’s love.
May the words of theses songs encourage your soul and especially as we give thought and vision to the eternal love of God.
Love and Prayers,
Liz

This song, shown in the photo above, entitled, “Perhaps Love”, my dear friend, a Soloist, sang beautifully on our Wedding Day.
Some of the words had to be changed in order to focus on God and His love.
May God’s love be reflected in these words as it was then, so may it be now.
Our sweet sister wrote out the words in Calligraphy form.
This song was in a box in our attic for many years, naturally I kept it as a precious memory.
The photo below is our Wedding Bulletin Cover. A good focus for all of us, single or married.
