The Earth is the Lord’s and Everything In It-

May 10, 2024 | Encouragement

‘The earth is the LORD’S, and everything in it,
the world,
and all who live in it.’
Psalm 24:1

In the beginning, God made the heavens the earth and all that is in it.

We may read more about how God did this in Genesis chapter one.

For those who believe in God, there is comfort in this knowledge.

What God created, He did with excellence and for a purpose.

Regardless if you believe in God or not, this truth is truth.

God created the heavens and the earth and everyone and everything in the world.

Have you contemplated what existed before God created the world?

The Bible teaches us in John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,

and the Word was God.”

Those who have diligently studied the above passage from the Bible understand Jesus is the Word.

Therefore, Jesus existed before time, and before God created the world.

This gives meaning to what exists and existed.

The breath of God created the world in His infinite wisdom and way.

For further truth, read with me the words of the Bible in the book of Jude chapter 25:
‘To the only God, our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord,
be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority,
before all time
and now and forever.

There you have it in a nutshell.

Before, all time, the only true God our Lord Jesus Christ existed.

He will always deserve all glory and majesty.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has dominion and authority over all that exists.

Certainly, many doubt this.

Yet it is truth and gives truth to all questions we might have.

We should praise God for His spiritual blessings in Christ.

Another profound truth to meditate on is…

“For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.”
Ephesians 1:4.

God has always existed.

He thought about His creation before He created the world.

God loves us so much as we learn from Psalm 139 how He intricately created us.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!
How vast the sum of them!
Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand —
when I awake, I am still with you.
Psalm 139:14-18

Do you still doubt who created the world and all that is in it?

Then please study Psalm 139 in depth?

Life can be overwhelming and perplexing.

There is so much confusion as humans make up their own truth.

People are more lost than ever before.

If you want to find peace, meaning, and truth, seek God, search His Word the Bible.

His promise to you is sure.

“You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
Jeremiah 29:13.

If you feel lost, alone, or just really confused, search for God with all your heart.

I promise you won’t regret it.

God is real

His truth is absolute.

His promises are faithful.

Seek Him with all your heart, not half of it, not a small part of it, but the whole nine yards.

You won’t regret it.

You have God’s Word on that.
