Well-Watered Gardens

The LORD will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Isaiah 58:11

The season of Spring reminds us that God is faithful.

While living in the wilderness of this life, the LORD will guide us continually as we look to Him to do so.

And we need Him to do so. We need Him to give us wisdom to direct our steps.

God’s favor satisfies the soul and puts gladness in our hearts as we turn to Him to be filled.

God promises to make us like a well-watered garden, full of fruitfulness, overflowing with goodness, and grace.

This garden has a spring that waters it from God’s reservoirs.

Living water fills this garden to the fullest and running over.

As the needy soul goes to be filled, he or she can continue to give to others in abundance.

This garden of this soul never runs dry, but pours out plenty in a land where there is no water.

When we receive what God pours out, we as believers can keep on giving like a fresh spring rain.

We pour new life and fresh growth into the lives of others like a spring rain, and not a stagnant pool.

Perhaps there will be times when we feel dry, but that is precisely when we must go to God to be refilled with His goodness, His grace, His springs of living water.

When we go to God, we become that well-watered garden that never runs on empty.

Others can see the life-giving fruitfulness in this garden given by the God who holds all things in His hands.

This garden will be one that others will want to sit by for refreshment.

God will make the old waste places plain and springs will flow forever, as our hearts and souls thirst for Him.

Our great God will strengthen you when you have no strength to go on.

This is a glorious picture of what happens in the soul of the one who turns to God to be watered with His Holy Word.

When we delight ourselves in God, and make Him the desire of our hearts, we will indeed be a well-watered garden, a spring of water that never fails.

Others will see in us that living water and believe.

All glory to God.
